Ticket Home

The Ben Jackson Foundation provides financial assistance for newly enlisted United States military personnel to travel home from their first permanent duty station. Our Ticket Home program is our way of saying "thank you" to the young men and women who are service our country. Ben Jackson Foundation Travel awards are made possible by our generous donors across the country.

Ticket Home Award Eligibility

Our dream is to say thank you to as many young men and women that enlist in the military as we can, and to be able to help get them home. In general, Travel Awards may be used only after you have arrived at your first permanent duty station and can not be used while you are in tech school. Reimbursement is for travel that occurs after your application has been accepted and you have been selected for a Travel Award.

Ticket Home Award Eligibility

You are eligible for a Ticket Home Award if you meet these conditions:

  • You are an enlisted member of a branch of the US Armed Forces, and
  • You have been in the military less than four years, OR you have not yet been home since arriving at your first permanent duty station.

Tickets Home are not necessarily restricted to those meeting the above requirements. The Foundation may, in some circumstances, make awards to other service members.
